In the two years since he was elected, Pope Francis’ simple message of mercy, service, and renewal has resounded to every corner of the world. In these two Advent evenings we will enter the "Holy Year of Mercy" declared by Pope Francis, and explore how mercy weaves its way into this preparation for the birth of Jesus among us. The powerful biblical art of Fr.Seiger Koder and profound insights from Fr. Thomas Keating will add to the richness of the sessions. This will be a prayerful time to slow down, to reflect, and to deepen our appreciation of the mystery of the Incarnation

Facilitator Archbishop Emeritus Sylvain Lavoie, OMI is now ministering as chaplain at the Star of the North Retreat Centre, has given retreats and workshops on addictions awareness, human development, First Nations ministry, spirituality, forgiveness, grieving and the 12 Step program for over 40 years.

$25 per evening or $45 for both sessions
